These kids are our future. They are 10-11 years old. I coach the 12-13 year olds. We deal with over 200 kids. Now we’re doing basketball with them. We try to do something with them every season. Doing whatever we can possibly do to keep them off the streets. They’re on the streets at that age, we try to reach them so by the time they reach 15, 16, and 17 we have put enough in them to where they won’t get influenced and get involved in something. We don’t want them to get influenced to go down that path. Stay on the path that we, as strong Black men, have put into them. Sports, books, grades, all that type of stuff.
