THE DROPPED BALL

I was just walking by and I saw this ball and it looked sad. Like somebody’s lost dreams or lost hope, so I took a picture of it. Like with the West End, I feel like they dropped the ball in the West End. Nobody puts any money into it. No time. We are the dropped ball, and there are a lot of lost dreams and lost hope in this place. This represents racism and hopelessness to me b/c I feel like people don’t care about the West. About poor, Black people, or really just Black people in general. Check the current status of us in our country. [Back to West Louisville] There is trash in the streets all the time. It’s a place that really doesn’t seem to have much opportunity. Like really on the road to deflation like the ball.
